文明游戏开场介绍

以下是当《文明I》创建新游戏时介绍影片中出现的文字（也在《文明IV》创建新游戏过程中以语音形式出现）。这个影片是为了给玩家在等电脑创造游戏世界时有些东西可看。文明其他的版本就不再有类似的介绍，大概是因为电脑可以马上完成创造世界吧！

In the beginning,
起初，
the Earth was without form,
地球尚未成形，
and void.
而且空无所有。
But the Sun shone upon the sleeping Earth
但当太阳照耀沉睡中的地球
and deep inside the brittle crust
并透过脆弱的地壳深入内部时，
massive forces waited to be unleashed.
巨大的力量开始被释放。
The seas parted
海洋被分开，
and great continents were formed.
大陆随之形成。
The continents shifted, mountains arose.
大洲升起，山岭勃发。
Earthquakes spawned massive tidal waves.
地震引起巨大的海嘨。
Volcanoes erupted
火山喷发，
and spewed forth fiery lava
吐出炽热的熔岩。
and charged the atmosphere
使得大气之中，
with strange gases.
充满奇异的气体。
Into this swirling maelstrom
这个旋转的大漩涡中，
of Fire and Air and Water
融合了火、空气和水，
the first stirrings of Life appeared:
第一个生命的萌芽出现了。
tiny organisms, cells, and amoeba,
微小的有机体、细胞，以及阿米巴原虫，
clinging to tiny sheltered habitats.
紧守著小小的、隐蔽的栖息处。
But the seeds of Life grew,
但生命的种子逐渐成长，
and strengthened, and spread,
日益茁壮，不断传播，
and diversified,
然后变得多样，
and prospered,
然后日益繁盛。
and soon every continent and climate
很快地，每个大陆与气候带
teemed with Life.
都充满了生命。
And with Life came instinct,
随著生命诞生了本能，
and specialization, natural selection,
进化变异，自然选择，
Reptiles, Dinosaurs, and Mammals
爬虫、恐龙以及哺乳类
and finally there evolved a species
最后终于进化出了一个物种，
known as Man
叫做人类。
and there appeared
而且出现了，
the first faint glimmers of
第一个微微闪耀的，
Intelligence.
智慧的光芒。
The fruits of intelligence were many:
智慧的果实众多：
fire, tools, and weapons,
火、工具及武器，
the hunt, farming, and the sharing of food,
狩猎、农耕及食物分享，
the family, the village, and the tribe.
家庭、村庄及部族。
Now it required but one more ingredient:
现在只要再多一个要素：
a great Leader
一位伟大的领袖，
to unite the quarreling tribes
去统一龃龉中的诸部族，
to harness the power of the land
去驾驭来自大地的力量，
to build a legacy,
去创造传予后世的遗产，
that would stand the test of time:
它将经历时间的考验：
a CIVILIZATION!
成为一个——文明！

文明IV又重现了文明I的这段开场白，帖出来大家看看……因为创建游戏进程很快，很少有人会无聊到看完它……

我看完了,主要是因为我的机子比较合作,并不是因为1代看过.............

当时的配置:CPU:P1.8,内存:256MB,显卡:Geforce2MX.............

这段开场辞壮观的一塌糊涂，现在我打出来了对着听来着，不过，最好还是在游戏里听，看着从混沌到开阔如天地，从单调到繁复如群星的背景图，听着配着恢宏音乐的顿挫解说，体味数亿年的沉睡大地默默的积蓄终于萌发出那一点文明的火花，而自己，接过火种，开创一个历久弥新的文明……

开场辞的前几句引自圣经的开场：

起初神创造天地。
In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  

地是空虚混沌。渊面黑暗。神的灵运行在水面上。
And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep.

我先玩的四代，到后来才发现一代里那个MIDI和他一样，这是不是说丝带是一代的回归？
